3. Application: Antioxidant H can be used as the antioxidant in solid propellant to improve the storage stability of the product. It has been used for those natural, styrene-butadiene, acrylonitrile-butadiene, butadiene, butyl, hydroxyl, polyisoprene rubber to possess performance such as good flex life and crazing for enhancing the tensile modulus, strengthening the de ng function to hot-oxygen , ozone and some harmful metals such as copper, manganese with not influence on vulcanization of those rubbers. It can resolve aging problem existing in the deep-color rubber products while antioxidant H is used together with antioxidant D. Moreover, it can be also used as the hot-oxygen stabilizer for those engineering plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, polyformaldehyde and etc to improve their climate-resisting performance. The reference dosage is 0.2-0.3%.
Use: Oxidation is an important limiting factor in all thermoplastics and thermosetting resins. Its effects include adverse colour change, loss of flexibility, loss of tensile strength and elongation, reduced impact resistance, cracking and other surface deterioration. Oxidation can also affect the molecular weight of a polymer, which in turn affects its other properties.
The oxidation of latex and rubber compounds can have different effects, depending on the type of polymer involved. Problems include adverse colour changes, loss of flexibility, loss of tensile strength and reduced impact resistance, ageing, cracking and other surface deterioration.
Industrial antioxidants provide critical performance and protection in applications such as rubber and plastics, de ng polymers from oxidative degradation due to heat, light, gas fading, peroxides, shear, and other dynamic factors.
Antioxidant H provides superior long-term thermal stability and color stability; is effective in film, fiber, and thick cross-section articles; and performs well in filled systems.
Furthermore, Antioxidant H is also used in the production of colorless stabilized polyolefins as well as PVC and PVB films.
DPPD antioxidant H is widely used in most natural and synthetic lattices and rubbers.
